Brook's Porter win tops any single Khan win since his Garcia fight, and he lost to Garcia. For Khan to top that win he'd need to beat Rios (level though) or Thurman (better win), but guess what, Brook will fight Rios and Khan isn't about to fight Thurman. Khan can go on a winning spree over non-puncher B grades while he knows himself he can never beat Brook. At this point it's ridiculous to suggest he's remotely better than Brook.
Tell what to Maidana and Garcia?, that past prime Khan won't beat Diaz, Collazo, Algieri and Alexander(forgot to mention him in the list)?. Please elaborate. I'm not sure a past it Khan will be able to beat past it Collazo to be honest. If Khan lost his speed(which makes him past it) he will be forced to stand flat footed and exchange with punches Collazo will be able to see coming and handle properly. It's Khan's speed that had Collazo frustrated, desperate and absolutely lost. That's the one attribute that carried Khan this far, his speed. As far as skills and general ability, he has always been predictable and basic at best.
Imo khans prime was at LWW vs Maidana and Judah etc. He won't ever get to those heights. And even then he wasn't still unconvincing.
it's impossible to make absolute revamps unless his entire brain is literally brainwashed to 1 year old status ^ tell garcia and marcos this the improvement in marcos is massive imo
khan will never stand flat footed and trade with a fighter bigger than himself never i agree with the highlighted bit and khan still as some speed but i will say it again imo he is slowing and that dont bode well for khan
The improvement in Maidana isn't massive. It appears to be massive but it's not really massive. He's more poised, isn't overly wild as he used to be, cuts of the ring and more accurate with his punches. All these are tweaks to attributes he already had. Garcia a boxer puncher and counter puncher, has anything else changed?. Some improvements to his ability sure, but that's about it. Don't let certain performances against certain opponents deceive you into thinking a fighter is completely overhauled. Khan applied that tactic when he moved up to 140 facing fighters that couldn't really time, counter and hurt him which further deceived fans into thinking he's fully overhauled within 3 months. Then he ran into a counter puncher who specializes at timing your mistakes in Garcia and the rest is history. Many fighters/managements do that too to keep their fighter going and fanbase alive. Knowledgeable fans see through that with ease.
He will be forced to stand flat footed if he's past his prime and can no longer move as he used to and lacks the speed to keep his opponents thinking twice before recklessly charging in. If he slowed down he would've have beat the fighters I mentioned. His speed is still there.
thats a lot of tweeks imo which as improved marcos loads imo add to them tweeks his jab and balance that is a lot of all round improvement imo and he should have been using theses attributes if he had them and his trainer should have been telling him to use them in that case
he wont beforced into anything he will just hang them up so your telling me khan is as fast as when beating paulie and zab era:think khan as speed but it is slowing as i have stated previously
Good point. Honestly though, he will only hang them up after being forced to stand flat footed and get stopped, that's what will get him to eventually hang them up.
