Shouldn't the fact that Ortiz being a southpaw boost him up vs Mayweather since Mayweather supposedly has trouble with southpaws?

Or were people just talking out of there ass when it sounded good like always. What happend to the Mayweather don't fight young, big, strong WW's and struggles with southpaws. Shouldn't the fact that Ortiz brings all those thing means something since those were the complaints? Oh yea that's right Mayweather haters are full of ****.

 

Ortiz an aggressive southpaw fighter who packs a punch, yup those kind of fighters has no chance and are cherry picked alright, but this one is willing to take the test!? wow.

Mayweather beats hes opponents with ease, so its called cherry picking. But this m*therf*cker havent lost hes whole carreer, if all hes opponents were bums then he must be a atleast a good fighter, because bums looses to bums too.

You have to be a at least a good southpaw. Ortiz proved he isn't a top level boxer already and beating Berto, who never was world class to begin with doesn't put him on that level at all. As a matter of fact, I picked Ortiz to win that fight because Berto was nothing special.

 

Khan beat the guy who made Ortiz quit. And he KO'd Ortiz as an amateur twice.

 

What sucks about Floyd's resume is the guys he blatantly ducked: Margarito, Cotto, Williams.

For Pac:

I take issue with saying he handpicked Marquez. It's the 2nd most demanded welterweight fight for Pacquiao other than Floyd. If he couldn't get Floyd in the ring for any of the wide array of reasons they couldn't work something out, THIS was the next best fight out there.

For Floyd:

I take issue with saying Floyd handpicked Baldomir, Judah, Mosley or Ortiz.

Ortiz is the only other recognized welterweight champion in the world after Pacquiao. If he couldn't get Pac in the ring for any of the wide array of reasons they couldn't work something out, THIS was the next best fight out there for him.

Mosley was held in the highest esteem he'd been held in for years after the Margarito win. Sure he was actually shot and the Margarito fight was an illusion, but that doesn't mean he was handpicked by Floyd. Actually, Floyd got FORCED into fighting Mosley due to the Haitian Earthquake and Pacquiao negotiations collapse.

Baldomir and Judah together held the most widely recognized welterweight titles. Floyd needed to beat them both after Judah stupidly threw away his marketability when he lost to Baldomir. Floyd never would have fought Baldomir if Judah hadn't lost to him.

 

Considering that JMM has been spoiling for this fight for years, plus the fact that Bob got years of free promotion from JMM with not cost to TR, plus the fact that JMM is nearing the end of his career, this fight had to be made now or never.

 

Well last time I checked Khans record it had a "W UD" next to Maidana's name so... :huh

 

Also, Khan beats Ortiz. And he will prove it when he moves up to 147.

 

Of course Ortiz is cherrypicked. He couldnt even outpoint Peterson ffs.

People are massively overrating him based on him narrowly beating an unproven fighter in Andre Berto, the best way to measure his talents is performances against established guys like Peterson and Maidana. He has no chance of beating Khan let alone Floyd.
