KHAN: "Peterson has a few hours left to accept deal"

A rematch is fair, but if Peterson picks a JMM fight first, there's nothing wrong with that.

Matthysse is fighting this weekend

 

Peterson beat him, he got past Khan's great long range game, and beat him up. Again, if Khan was so good at range, he would be comfortably outboxing crude sluggers in Maidana, and converted pressure fighters in Peterson.

Mayweather is great at fighting at range, great at judging range. Marquez is great at judging range. Ward is great at judging range. Can you point out the one thing in their game that they have and Khan hasn't that makes them so great at judging range?

 

To be be fair Khan is pretty damn good on the outside and at midrange, it's his bread and butter. If a stronger opponent can bull himself inside though he's ****ed, he needs to stop leaning on the ropes taking stupid ****ing shots like he does, and he needs to learn to keep his composure more when hit with big shots (instead of backpedalling in straight lines). When the fight was in the middle of the ring he was comfortably outboxing Peterson.
