I'm not a fan of the situation, but Floyd is just counting Benjamins at this point, doubt he even cares what us mere mortals think.
The simple fact that Maidana AND Khan were options, is a farce in itself.

 

What was the point of that poll in the first place then? Didn't Khan win it? Either way I wanted the Khan fight but it doesn't matter much bu this whole thing has been a bit bizarre.

Maidana won the ESPN/FIGHTNEWS polls rather convincingly.

 

If I where Khan I'd gun for Peterson & then Garcia & then look to leave GBP & go solo, that way he can get the Pac/Bradley/Marquez/Provo fights.

 

Big fight with Kell brook now then next biggest payday for him

Maidana is a bonafide challenger. He has pedigree at the weight. Do I see it going any other way than a Floyd win? No, but a Khan fight would have been the same.

My point on this fight has always been that you should have to earn your chance.

 

Easy fight to get. He should grab it ASAP and do it in England.

I think Maidana, should give floyd the stiff too. Floyd ,the Duck with money , Mayweather deserves it.

No you should feel like a tool. There's plenty of us that knew this was all a circus from the very beginning and will pay attention when he actually announces a fight. Maybe if you didn't hang on Mayweather's every word, you wouldn't have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.
