Personally after Prescott coming up short against Vasquez and Mitchell then being unlucky enough to come up short against Mcloskey, the Alvarado stoppage loss seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for this matchup however seeing Prescott go on to beat his last two opponents whilst Khan failing to do the same is this now the only way back for Khan?

Juan Manuel Marquez is still fishing for a Pacquiao fight
Erik Morales and Danny Garcia are tied up in a rematch
Mike Alvarado is taking on Brandon Rios
Lucas Mathysse is fighting Ajose Olusegen
Zab Judah and Lamont Peterson are fighting for the IBF (much to Khans displeasure)

Even at 147 Bradley is unlikely to take the fight
    Alexander and Bailey are fighting
Malignaggi wont be keen on a rematch
Khans stock is too far gone to fight Pac or May
Victor Ortiz is also coming off a stoppage loss (Goldenboy)

So Breidis Prescott seems to be the only name that Khan could come back against and make some money but could lightning strike twice?

Should be, Khan should start over by going back to the snake that bit him... if he cant beat Presscott nor Garcia he isnt going to do much more on this level

It would be a nice comeback for Khan avenging a loss. But Gato Figueroa was a bogus win for Prescott. Give him a shot at a B- level guy. He wins then make Khan fight

I would like to see this fight again, but all signs point to Kell Brook

All the top level fighters have fights lined up from 140-147, Khan needs to keep busy and Prescott is the only name that would sell, especially if it were in the UK in Manchester where it happened the first time

Again whilst I agree with Figueroa not being a top level fighter, Everyone else is tied up. Khan should keep busy and this is the only available name for him to fight

If he was to fight and beat Prescott it would go some way to proving some doubters wrong and make a few fans as well

He'd get my respect if he took that fight.

Khan will be relevant when his false god answers his prayers for a shiny new chin.

If Khan can't rematch the guy who Exposed him in the first place (Yes Exposed him with a capital E, because it should be clear now, that this was no accidental outcome. Prescott showed everyone the truth), that will leave a big hole in his resume. If you want to be considered elite, as Khan wants everyone to think he is, you got to avenge your losses.

Uh, based on what? Beating Figueroa but failing to put him away, after hurting him early, running out of gas and getting on his bike?

No, I don't think Prescott has made a case for a rematch being relevant with his recent form.

He's boxing on the outside a lot better than he used to for stretches at a go, but that's about as positive as you can be about his comeback.

He won the first fight and does anyone doubt he can win the second? I don't think we need any more reason than that.

    I think he can, yes.

I also think he probably wouldn't.

At the moment, he's built himself back up to be an 'ok' opponent for Khan, as apposed a 'must'.

I think he needs a notable win against a notable opponent (something he's been given opportunities to do plenty of times, and has failed in every single one of them) before he can demand a Khan fight.

Khan would be running and holding like crazy in a rematch.

Khan's career is basically over. He has a Glass Jaw and everyone knows it they are going to go right at his Chin and show him zero respect. Khan's biggest problem is he has no power so fighters are not going to be reluctant to go at him if he had any power it would make his opponents at least respect him a little bit.

Khan is a dead man walking unless they just handpick a string of light punchers like they did after the Prescott KO.
