I thought Prescott looked good against Alvarado but just ran out of gas late, I also thought he got dicked in the Mcloskey bout, either way I'd take the long odds and put my money on him to beat Khan again. If Khan can get to the 9th round, he'll win easily but he's going to have hell getting there.

How has he even built himself up to be OK? :think

Following back-to-back losses he.s beaten back-to-back bums. (and yes, in 2012 Gato Figueroa is a full-fledged bum..)

It's a good time to try and get that ****** off his back.Despite Prescott's post Khan medoicrity,Khan will always have to face up to it sometime.
If I was Prescott's manager I'd hold out for a very decent purse though.I'd play the contrary hard-to-get chick style and say "Oh now you want me?"
Not like he's got many mega paydays to look forward to.
The funny thing is,despite their juxtaposing trajectories,I think Khan would still be very apprehensive about this fight.I think he should have one fight before trying to get his revenge though. But at the end of the day,he needs to do this.

Wlad never faced up to his first two defeats and it really hasn't hurt his legacy. Sure, some haters still pipe in about them here and there but in the long run, historically speaking, it won't hurt his legacy in the least.

Unavenged losses to Corrie Sanders and Ross Puritty don't hurt Wlad's legacy??Fairly or unfairly, they will always be used as point A in any counter-argument to Wlad being an ATG.

Decisively avenging losses is one of the quickest ways of removing black marks from a legacy. For example, how would Lewis be viewed if he hadn't quickly avenged the loss to Rahman?

Back on topic, I don't think Khan will have much of a legacy to preserve, but a rematch with Prescott is an easy sell and would gain him a lot of kudos at least.

I'm just of the opinion that even if it's late in the day, such a devastating loss needs to be addressed, especially given Amir's chin will always be open to ridicule.
I think it's a personal thing.Khan's horribly flawed but he's got big balls, and I think he'll have to deal with this for his own sake.

All im saying is all the top 140 pounders and most 147 pounders are busy until next year

Im talking about a december fight to stay busy and make some money, The fight is now more relevant due to Khans failings than Prescotts Succes.

Khan - Prescott 2, in December, in Manchester returning to the scene of the crime. Khans last 3 fights have been in the US (Judah, Peterson, Garcia) and would draw the casual fans in

In case you didn't know, Khan isn't a world champion, Khan lost two fights in a row, one was a bad knock-out loss.

Prescott hasn't fought the same competition, but he's on a winning streak, and like someone else said, he beat Khan by knock-out, it was arguably Khan's worst/most embarrissing defeat.

Why should Prescott have to do more to fight a guy whom he has already beat, and isn't a world champion?

Khan doesn't deserve, and should get an opponent above Prescott's level for his next fight.

Maybe I should change that to "Khan, with his back-to-back losses, has reduced himself to make Prescott an 'ok' opponent at the moment".

    Better?

Its always been relevant but Khn should avoid him if he wants to hve any chance of making something from his disastrous career. Wild fighters with looping hooks and power are khans nightmare. Factor in the height and reach advantage of prescott ans it will be lights out.
