Well Claypole could be right. Who are we to say Prescott doesn't beat Khan 10/10 times? We can only go on what evidence we have - i.e the only time they fought, where Khan got wobbled by a jab and then taken out in devastating fashion.

Also, Uppercut's posts seems to be true (bar the Khan being a bum). He HAS been matched vs light-hitters since Prescott, so I really don't know why you picked those two quotes to shake your head at and bump yet another Khan thread.

 

nohomejerome, i think you and the ****s like you are pointless for boxing, you seem to have serious hate for Khan and i dont understand it, if you dont like the guy, or like the way he boxes or the way he has been matched dont bother with him,yet you spend all your time on here talking about a boxer you dont like. its ridiculous, ****s like you are not needed in this sport.

i find it ****ing moronic that a fan of boxing on a boxing forum has a picture of a boxer he does not like being KO'd as his avatar, it really is bizzare. why not promote boxers you like and put a positive on the sport we all love instead of hating on boxers you claim to hate yet spend all your time talking about

 

Without the harshness of uppercut83's post i do agree with him. Khan has been matched really really well but it hasn't been done on sly it's a abundantly clear that his match makers don't put him in with real live punchers at this moment. It's highly careful match making.

Fair play to his people it's gotten him a world title but it's easy to see why people want to see him in with Bradley and co who punch with at least a bit of aggression. I want to see more then sticking to a very basic gameplan against light hitting fighters and fighters who stylistically present no threat to his major weakness. Sometime Somewhere he will have to fight someone who hits with decent power.

I give him props he's improved and won a title after a shocking loss but he's got a lot to prove. As for Prescott i have no interest in it. Prescott hasn't gone on to do anything and Khan is in a no win situation for me. It's a backwards fight. Machismo don't make good business sense. And yes i don't like that...but that's way sport is!! and Khan ain't only guy to not go avenge a defeat..and won't be last.

 

Please stop bumping all these old khan threads...granted some people got it wrong.
As a big khan fan myslef i dont think your doing him any favours by digging up ancient threads seriously.
