Im glad .... the picture quality on primetime is shocking. I was watch Ali-Frazier 1 the other day and the picture was better from the early 70's than what we get off primetime.

Neither were his last two and that never stopped him. Sounds more like his primetime ppv's went down like a lead balloon, and he's finally got a bit of decent advice and gone back to sky where people will actually watch him again. :deal

    @ Jim Bowen

So a unification fight against a name opponent in America isn't PPV worthy?

Yeah i know, basically he knws his Peterson fight is a pile of shite easy UD win and he is gonna have to have a couple of warm ups at the weight before he gets any big fights....Basically he and his team think that in 3 fights he can face Floyd and it will be on Sky PPV....

Sky have clearly gave him a lump sum to come back and be on normal Sky for his next 3 boring fights, cos they obviously think the Floyd fight is a possibility also, then if he gets a fight with Floyd it goes on PPV.......Then he gets found out and took to school and thats that.....Thank ****.

Na. That's bollocks, there were a fair few picking Zab by KO IIRC. Judah is a good fighter and genuine top 5 at the time. He held a title as well. Thats PPV standard for me (although I streamed it ;)

The time at which the fight is at affects whether its worth the money in my opinion, also with it being in the middle of the night a lot just won't want to stay up for it, and if your going to watch it recorded anyway, why would you pay £15 for what is effectively tape-delay?

Personally i wouldn't pay £15 for anything on in the middle of the night. That fight in Britain is PPV without a doubt, however its not going to have the same luster when its on at nearly 5 in the morning when the only people up are insomniacs, night workers, and extremely dedicated fans.

I just don't think there's a big enough market for it, and i also believe with this deal we can conclude that Khan will be fighting in the US for the foreseeable future now.

Fair enough but before the fight I'd have rated it higher than the Hatton v Urango/Collazo PPVs.

Also i think Hatton was a case of popularity, something Khan seems to struggle with at times. Khan probably has 5x the talent Hatton had, yet he has 10x less fans. Hatton knew how to build up a fight, i don't think khan does.

NOthing to do with building up a fight. Hatton just had that beer drinking football fanbase

I can only think of two: Kotelnik and St Clair
