If Khan had been counted out it would only have been a pyrrhic victory for Limond.

Not anymore, I'm sure Amir is two level above Limond now, that was his one shot and he lost it, he had the right tactics as well, he pushed the pace and brawled him around, Limond is not a paper fisted guy as everybody would say, he is from around Glasgow and is a carpenter, you can't be a carpenter if your weak armed, there is also no way the ref was going to count him out because he was talking, the ref in the Prescott fight should have stopped it when the boy was moon walking but he didn't, that was a bad call. I don't think it would have been a Pyrrhic victory for Limond but justifiably disputable one, nobody wants that in all fairness, he was and is a good fighter with only two loses now, one from Alex Arthur in 2003, plus Limond had never been stopped, poor guy got his jaw broke for his troubles as well in the 8th round, I think the whole career of Amir has been done up like a cheap hooker, it didn't need all the make up and cheap clothes to be good, but Warren is a Blood Sucking Druid, I hope Freddy can do something for this boy and get him away from Franky the Vampire Warren.

Khan needs to fight a puncher like Prescott again and win for me to ever take him seriously again.

Agree... I think there are quite a few of us who'd like to see this one. Don't think I've ever seen a ref more stunned than when the wee man started getting the better of him. The boxing World owes him one good pay day as he was the one that exposed the fraud; or maybe made the fraud accept that he needs to do something to improve!

I think had it been anyone else other than Khan, the Limond fight would have been stopped. OK - it was hardly Zab-esque but when he crouched down he nearly went over again.......

Until he learns how to diffuse a puncher he isn't going anywhere - you can't rank him above Thaxton, he is in the top 15 of the WBC and holds the European title, a proper title rather than that Commonwealth rubbish.

I'm a plasterer and joiner among many other things, so I know the difference between the two, plastering is art when joinery takes a certain kind of strength, it's different now as most guys use lots of Makita tools but most joiners that are time served prefer the old hands on method like me, I actually though Willie would beat Amir by round 10 because he had 30 fights over Amirs 10 odd fights, but noway the ref was going to stop that fight when he was suppose to win according to Warren and the odds makers. Willie is a better fighter than anybody Amir fought before, he just scraped by by the skin of his teeth, that should have been a reality check of him but as we all know he got check mated in the next ding dong.

why obsessed, its true,he been sat on his arse by soft punching SFW,and knocked out badly by presscott.
i say we go for a rematch with victor ortiz, who he beat in the am's,:good,he is a pro now with a similer record, albeit at lightwelter, but i can't see khan getting away with lightweight for much longer

Khan did outclass Ortiz in the ams, maybe we should discuss that along with his bad chin.

i dont think amir should go near 140, as for ortiz that would be more horrific than prescott

Maybe his chin is so poor because he struggles to make weight.

Roach made him put more muscle/fat on his legs and taken it off his back/chest. Probably wont do that much but we can only hope.
