So , Kahn is to spar with the pac man. Does this improve his chances of getting his career back on track with the valuable experience of been in the ring with Pac , or only serve to make him realise the difference in class , and how much he needs to improve ?

yeah , im thinking along those lines , it'll do him good if he's got the mentality to deal with it , but he's going to have to be prepared to be knocked around!

I'm sure it will help Khan put things in perspective. Khan thought before his last fight he was a world wonder and sparring with Pacman will only help him realize how high the mountain is to truly be one of the best !!

On the other hand it'll be good sparring for Pac too, but only for certain aspects of his game plan...

This is great news for Amir, hard sparring is what the kid needs. Getting knocked around the ring by someone like PacMan is going to help Amir tighten his defence and learn how to deal with a relentless puncher.

there's no substitute for sparring. rafa marquez mentioned back in his earlier days he'd get the snot slapped out of him by Ricardo "Finito" Lopez on a daily basis. the gap eventually closed when finally rafa would get the better from Finito. alot of recent uk fighters i don't have to mention have been overhyped that's why here in the U.S. not many take them seriously with the exception of Lewis and Calzaghe, but Khan has the physical qualities it's his mentality they need to work on so he won't be another Hamed.

Khan was knocked down many times in the amateurs and in the pros, so he has the experience of getting up. I even think despite his bad chin he recovers fast. His fighting spirit is damn high after getting up.

But you simply can't make a weak chin better. As long as he's getting hit by the Prescott type of bombs he's getting knocked out. It does not matter if PacMan sends him down 20 times, a big punch will be still too much to handle...

    What a waste talent...
