Its not mate seriously. Watch the fight. The first jab Khan was hit with actually made his leg twitch. That was the first thing i saw and really stood out to me. He`s either fantastically chinny or wasnt well that night as he was hurt to the sole of his boots by Prescotts jab. You can see from the way his body reacts from the 1st KD to see he was severely hurt. He dropped and was completely limp. When he did rise -albeit too quickly showing that rookie inexperience- he stumbled and his face looked like he just had a stroke as the muscles in his face were convulsing and in spasm. Thats a fighter who`s brain has been shook and stunned badly. If his punch resistance is truly that bad its time to get out of the game or work HARD on his defence.

I have just ahd another look and I still don't see it, sorry...he was pushed back but I don't think that he was hurt, maybe i'm just blind.

What did strike me as odd was Khans initial reaction at the opening bell, rushing Prescott like a rank amateur, I can't believe that Rubios final instruction would have been "go get him tiger". It sort of reminded me of Enzo Macs sprint to his execution against Haye.....the action of a scared man?? To be honest Khan looked completely out of sorts on his ring walk, I thought he looked ill at first but on 2nd viewing he genuinely looks scared, like he knew what was coming.

The jab I'm not sure about. First impression I thought 'wow, that rocked him' but on reflection he may just have been a tad off balance.

Having said that the next punch that landed sent him into orbit - so maybe his resistance was non-existent.

even before the the ring walk,he was shadow boxing in front of the camera in the changing rooms,we all said as we drunk our beer how poor he looked, stiff and elbows stickin out as if he had a sheep under each, but prescot on the pads looked sharp.
icemax so true, rushed out like a raging bull, foolish, but i think he would have got beat anyhow, not on points, knockout in any round, that jab in the 1st seconds shook him to his boots

he was gone after the first knockdown.. he had to get up quick otherwise he'd have been glued to the floor

Khan cant stand and trade with bangers!!

he aint got no power so he just made it too easy for prescott

    nice post:good

also i thought it was very silly to try that body shot when the guy hadnt even thrown a lead (jab) he was very amatuerish in that fight. but it worries me that he was wobbled by a jab.

i truly truly hope not but this could be the end of a career, dont be surprised if khan is stopped in his next fight:?

Nah, he was definetly hurt. I think you think he was just pushed off balance by a ramrod jab, which is no sign of a bad chin...however, his feet were in a good position and his body was perfect. He didn't get sent backwards because he was in the wrong position, he was actually stunned by it.

And then the left hook which made him look like Bambi on ice was not a clean punch either. It landed on his forehead, which is the ideal place to take a punch if you have to. The combination after it, the right and then left hook were good punches, and to be honest, Khan did well to get up from them considering how hard he went down. The final left hook was good. Khan should count his blessings that right when he was on his way down didn't land on his temple, as that probably would have put him in the hospital.

Benn got ko'd by a jab. Pacquiao got kd and hurt badly by a jab. I've seen Eubank, Hatton and company kd or ko people with a jab.

A good stiff jab will do that to you. As soon as that jab landed Khan should have gone defensive and play it safe.

Khan was never going to lose his macho approach until he got ko'd. I hope he learns from it yet maintains that fire and confidence like Hearns. Hearns played it safer, clinched more but still had fire in him and wanted to win.

Khan can come back but he has alot to learn i.e. in the amateurs you can rush out but in the pros you got 12 rounds so use them.
