KHAN is Pakistani does put him on the radar for racism but racsim is not as bad as it once was. It's more annoyance IMO than anyting. He is not immune to it.:good
It's true, there jealous because he is so good. Too many people say they don't like him because of his chin, There just racist ***s with no life who wouldn't dare to be racist in front of khans face.
Amir Khan is a superstar..? whenever he fights, everyone..! boxing fans and casual fans all know about his fights..! Amir Khan puts money in banks, and asses on seats. He's one of the very few household names in british sport..! for boxing. Yes some people do hate him.. But them stupid twats, also watch all of his fights.. You see guys...Amir Khan gets the last laugh......!
Its true... white folks don't like hearing it, but you know its true... sure they make excuses about chin this and that... but the level of hate is not justified by anything obvious... actually its Khans own fault for fighting for a country that doesnt love him and doesnt consider him one of its own...
People resented him because he was promoted by Frank Warren, therefore matched up against tomato cans (On PPV no less) and pushed down everyone's throats as "the next big thing" despite a slew of mediocre performances. He had it all handed to him on a silver platter only to get KO'ed by the first opponent he faced with a pulse. Put that in your autobiography, kiddo. It's all eerily similar to Mundine here in Australia, except for the fact that Khan actually went out and made some changes following the loss. I respect him for that.
Does the guy not know that he already is a star, despite his frailties. Had he not lost by devastating KO, his start would shine brighter. He just has to put in more work and shut the **** up, and he can make it.
How many boxing Superstars have there been in Britain in last 15 years since boxing moved from Terrestial TV? Probably only Naz and Hatton are the only one who trancended the sport. They just show its more down to personality, talent and fanbase as oppose to skin colour.
Yeah it pretty much true... while "superstar" is taking it a little far (at this stage of his career), he'd definately have more pop with UK fans if he wasn't a brown muslim (looking) guy. Having visited the UK recently it was pretty obvious that was the case. And let's not talk about Naz. While many UK fans speak of him warmly now - he was hated by many UK fans at the time. Black fighters aren't gonna really be the same coz they litter the sport - if you were gonna criticize every black fighter you may as well not watch boxing. But it's easier to use lots of inane excuses with this guy. Who's gonna know? Having said that, there can be legitimate criticism of the guy; same as for any boxer. But it's always blown out of proportion so often you have to start wondering. He doesn't exactly trash talk, does he?
