That 3rd score is messed up. That judge insulted Martinez and the fight itself by saying Williams won all but 1 round. I'm sure the extra money the judge made for this will help him sleep better. Why the hell are these judges not accountable? Why do we let these guys off the hook? This **** needs to stop.

For all the crap Kellerman talks, he was spot on in what he said post fight about the awful judging decisions we've seen this year.

Anyways I'm off to bed, and as a bonus its only half 4, and not 6.00:happy

British refs score fights though. I'm sick of hearing that we are biased when we decisions like that every other other week from America......don't even mention the Germans!!

A close fight that should have perhaps gone Martinez way, that score card is beyond ludicrous.

That 119-110 scorecard can't even match the way Martinez beat Cintron three times and got a draw and the way Funeka busted up Guzman and got a draw.

Infact, these two foreigners have been robbed a total of 4 times in America in the last 12 months and they want to talk about Froch's slightly dubious decision?

And they say when you fight in Japan you gotta knock your man out to get a draw, Really feel for them two lads...whats the point in even being good and boxing and using skill when it gets overlooked.

GazOC, got to give you credit for picking out Martinez as a decent sort.

Luckily I didn't bet on him (the odds were well short for Williams)... would have well peeved with the scoring at the end, haveing had a go on Martinez at long odds.

Thread has now ceased to be.

It's too easy to wind the tossers on the general up- I haven't seen the thread, but my guess is this is what Gaz was doing and I was guilty of a bit of it myself yesterday. That said, you hope people 'get it' when it's posted on the Brit forum.

That aside, these fixed cards are the sort of **** that is spoiling boxing and preventing it's growth. Last night we saw the two very different sides of boxing: we had the pleasure to watch two skilled athletes try and outwill the other in a scintilating fight; we also saw the kind of pervasive wrong-doing and misjustice that is hurting the sport. The fight could have went either way and two scorecards reflected how close the fight actually was- the other was nothing more than a blatant fix, IMO. One round short of a shutout? Gimme a break, judge:lol:. I just hope we get to see the rematch.

Also, how classy was Martinez after the fight? Top bloke.
