Just finished this months boxing monthly and in the review of Khan v St Clair Amir comments on Thaxton...

"you can say goodbye to Thaxton" insisted Khan.
"Im not scared of him - I'd knock him out - but all the things he's been saying, the stuff he's been doing with the white feathers,, are very disrespecful. Im not giving him a payday".

If im not wrong wasnt it Khan who started the slagging off with Thaxton?

Its a shame, i think Khan beats Thaxton 9 times out of 10, but he would put up a better fight than Khans next opponent.

Khan is head and shoulders above Thaxton but once again Khan only wants to fight the hand picked oppoents Warren finds him. Khan just comes over as a loud mouthed chav with no bottle.

Sounds eerily like what Hatton says about Witter.

It doesn't cut it with real boxing fans.

We know a good match up when we see one. British champ v Commonwealth champ is always a good match up.

If Campbell can beat Diaz so can Khan.

It does sound like the Hatton/Witter fiasco.

The only difference being that Witter was the one calling Hatton out, whilst it was Khan who started the taunting of Earl and Thaxton and when Thaxton has hit back Khan doenst like it

first thing first: if they dont fight, it will be a shame, as the fans want it.

however, i dont think witter turned an offer down from hatton, thaxton did.

The Dane he is fighting only fought once in 2007 and has stopped 5 out of 19 wins.

No. Thaxton is fighting Romanov for this. Khan is fighting the legendary, dynamite fisted hardman Martin Kristjansen instead.

Yep. The Dane has fought three dwarves and an 8 year old, two corpes and a pet hamster (brutal KO). Yhe guys other KO sensations were against three tramps and a sleeping policeman.

campbell i guess. if katsidis is fighting casamayor in a wbc eliminator he'll probably have to give up the wbo interim.
