Fact is Khan has fought top 10 fighters in last 2 years in kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, Judah & Peterson. Brook has fought No one in the top 20. Just like Bute, no one can be sure how good he REALLY is until he gets in the ring with a truly world class fighter. Either he'll prove he's on that level or get exposed like Bute.

Khan's accomplishments sometimes become so easily underrated because of his disliked personality. So much so, that an unproven person like Brook, after beating the great Matthew Hatton, all of a sudden smashes Khan to bits.

Exactly. Some people hate him so much that they can't bring themselves to admit he's done well, and Brooks resume is nothing in comparison.

Should make for an interesting fight in the future, either Brook needs to step up the level of oppenents or Amir needs to lose another before the fight happens.

I do think that Kell could have Khan's number though, given a little more time.

I'm not sold on Kell yet. He's proven nothing at anyway near elite level. Khan has been there and done it. This fight is much too premature.

There is no way Brook beats Amir, Brook is a good fighter but why would Amir fight him? Until Brook has a title or fights somebody and is still undefeated he won't waste his time with him

People all so seem to forget that if Khan hadn't have had the 2 points deducted he wins on every card

This thread is obviously one big wind up.

What have people seen in brook to make them think he would beat Khan (i dont belive he has fought anyone nears khans level in terms of workrate, speed and overall ability)

I would love to see the fight and am a fan of both (I support all british boxers) but IMO brook needs to bring more to the table. In other words fight Paulie in brooklyn, beat him, and then come to the table.

Khan beats Brook IMO but he don't want none of the special one.

Khan is right. Brook is trying to talk himself into a fight. Beating Hatton says absolutely nothing, especially given the poor showing from Matthew. Brook needs to finally mix it up with a decent 147 fighter like Ortiz, Berto, Alexander, Malignaggi is back in the mix, even Maidana would make things interesting.
