The one fight where I thought Amir looked exceptionally good under Roach was when he faced Malignaggi, which always baffled me, because Paulie isn't known as a big puncher and Khan executed a disciplined and effective effort, where he always seemed more careless in other fights against guys known as bigger punchers.

Yes, so he could get knocked out again like he did Garcia :nod.

Let's hope he goes back. I want to see DSG spark him again.

Begging for what? Begging to have an offensive coach that will ask you to throw a six punch combo while you have no chin to take the counter punches that will be coming at you? If Khan wants to get knocked out, he should bring Roach in his corner again. Khan doesn't the punch resistance to apply what Roach will ask him to do.

I think it's because Malignaggi lacks power, that he was able to maintain more control and poise. When an opponent has power, or when they apply pressure on him (even if they are light punchers), he resorts back to his instincts and gets sloppy.
