Cause to my eyes it was Khan who had his forearm in Peterson's throat and proceeded to hit him with a right hand. It was Khan who was literally pushing Peterson off him at times to get the fight back at his required distance, it was Khan who was holding inside, it was Khan who kept pulling Peterson's head down. Khan's complaining to the ref amounts to the fact Peterson was allowed to get on his chest and bang him to expose his lack of inside game. That's what all this moaning about the ref equates to. Khan wanted a ref who was gonna break them up when Peterson was on his chest, that's why he was looking at the ref with that distressed look on his face as if to say "separate us ref", or like Peterson was doing something Illegal.

So Khan had two points taken, one of them was legit imo. He was holding excessively down the stretch of the fight to stop Peterson working inside. As for the first, the KD wasn't legit so that squares things up in my eyes.

I dont think Peterson won, but Khan blaming the ref and acting like mother Teresa, like HE was fighting clean, is all BS IMO. He's trying to marginalize the fact he was't able to handle Peterson when on the inside.

a lot of talk from Khan fans claiming Peterson was trying to butt him. i think thats disgusting. i can't remember that at all and don't recall peterson doing it in any of his fights.

Yeah maybe I need to watch the fight again, closer, but I didn't see any blatant use of the head that you dont see in x amount of other fights when a guy gets on your chest.

What Khan might be complaining about is that Peterson was robbing him of his leverage on the inside, IE putting Khan's weight on his heels by leaning on him, making it more difficult for Khan to counter on the inside, not that he's particularly great at that anyway, but..

I just see it as moaning cause he wanted some separation but wasn't getting it.

A smart fighter might of used Peterson's leverage against him when he was leaning on, by grabbing his elbow, turning him, then digging a left hook into his body and attacking him from the angle, then moving away.

This fight makes you think Ricky Hatton had a real chance at beating Khan.

Khan making up BS about Lamont trying to head butt him, imagine had he fought Bradely.

I've not seen one Khan fan, on ESB, claim Peterson was butting him.

KHAN YOU ARE SO ****ING STUPID

WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO BE SO ****ING BRAVE?! YOU SAY YOU WANT TO RETIRE QUITE YOUNG AND HEALTHY, WELL WHY THE **** ARE YOU TRYING TO PROVE HOW TOUGH YOU ARE? IF YOU ARE HURT, HOLD/RUN, DO NOT ASK HIM TO HIT YOU SOME MORE

BOX TO YOUR STRENGTHS YOU FOOL.

Bradley actually would of been trying to do what Barry Hunter was telling Peterson to do, IE trying to tear his ass out the frame. It makes you think how many of those latter rounds Bradley would of swept with his consistency once he got the encouragement Peterson was getting.

I dont think thats the reason, feel like he couldnt rather then he wanted to prove something, khan has plenty of heart but peterson was better on the inside which cost him many rounds.

I feel that if he actually didn't go all bravado he would not have been caught as much, he would have won IMO, this is not an excuse, the mental side of boxing is MASSIVE, khan is not great mentally, but yeah he does show a lot of heart.

Khan needs to blame freddie roach moreso, than the judge, for not teaching him defense and how to fight on the inside, and allowing him to be the second coming of MP.

Khan needs to blame himself moreso than freddie roach for not learning how to fight on the inside, trying to be MP, trying to prove he has a solid chin by allowing people to take off on him, not realizing that if he fights in a style that utilizes his strengths instead of fight like MP, he would be a lot more effective. Hell he would do better if he put his shots together like mayweather because his Manny Pac flurries has no substance and just straight out sucks. He should blame himself for looking ahead of who is in front of him. Even the p4p best doesnt do that. He should blame himself for choosing to fight in someone else's backyard, and most of all not listening to the MANY warnings the ref gave him.

Ref did a **** job. Plain and simple. In a rough fight a ref should either shut the horse play down on both sides or let it go. Peterson, I'll give him credit was alot more slick about it but he was rough housing all night. He was shouldering Khan all night. Putting forarms in his face. And even posted an open fist into Khan's face a couple of times without ever getting a warning. Stevie ****ing Wonder could see Khan was mainly fouling in retaliation to Peterson`s rough tatics. Some of them were just Ricky Hatton style brawling tatics that I got no problem with. But a lot of the time he was cearly fouling. I understand and can live with the first point deduction cause several warnings were given. But before the ref took the second point he should have warned Peterson, which many have eased the pressure on khan and resulted in him fouling less. At the very least he should have given Khan a warning. No warning to either guy, that was crap and Khan lost his title because of it.

This is why Benevetez should only go to Wild Card for sparring and never let Freddy teach him. Cause he`s got the inside hooks too really do some damage if someone can show him how to stay calm and mix it up inside. He`s the only Freddy fighter with a brain and who can adapt. He doesn`t need to be running around the ring like the rest of these more limited fighters.
