You getting the old mixed up with the new. I'm referring to the Khan with Hunter and the Maidana with Garcia.

I will completely disregard anything that has to do with Floyd/Pac, fighting, not relevant to the topic.

So, if fighters are on the same level but one fighter has already beaten said competitor, (even by the slimmest of margins and where a rematch could be warranted) there is no reason for them to rematch? You do realize this scenario happens ad nauseum in boxing.

Khan would gain a great deal career wise and from I believe a personal standpoint from rematching Maidana, neither are in the same position as their first fight (Khan's star a bit lower, Maidana's star higher). There is no agenda vs. Khan, he's not on the level he claims, this is proven by his career to this point.

sidenote: I would like to see him fight Brook as well

You say there is no agenda against Khan, then you talk about what he "claims" which really belies your initial statement. It's clear his claims bother you as it does so many others, that is likely that's the real reason you want to him to fight Maidana - because you feel he could get stopped.

A Maidana fight does virtually nothing for Khan, it's high-risk, low-reward fight against an opponent coming off two losses who is not a big draw, who was beaten soundly by Khan's last opponent, has no title and who Khan has already beaten.

That high risk, low reward statement is over used. As a matter of fact, Maidana would be the A side in the matchup. Khan has never been on PPV or fought the higher profile opponents. Over here, Maidana is the bigger draw. Khan needs to be tested for real and Maidana is the man for that and more. Good fight.

Maidana has two losses, he is irrelevant at the moment. He needs to fight ALexander to earn a shot with the King.

wrong. maidana fight does nothing for khan. and wrong again, maidana would not be the A side. maidana got shutout vs. alexander meanwhile khan shutout alexander and has already beat maidana.

bradley, marquez (although old), cotto do something for khan's career.

    Try these facts then.

    Khan has already beaten Maidana.

Maidana is coming off 2 defeats.

Khan just easily beat the guy who COMFORTABLY beat Maidana.

Try these facts, Maidana rocked Khan early in the first round before being dropped himself. then got deducted a point in the 5th for an elbow, had Khan on Bambi legs for the last 3 or 4 rounds. and Chino lost by a point on most cards, by Marquez fan logic that was a win by Chino if you don't count the KD and point deduction, it was a damn close fight and they should rematch.

Chino would beat Alexander now, and of course styles make fights, Maidana's style is still all wrong for Amir.

Wait what? CHino had Khan rocked in the first? lmao. Think you need to watch it again. Khan had chino on the floor screaming in pain barely making it up in the first! Chino needs to beat Alexander first to get Khan. He'll get schooled again though.
