Serious. Have a come back fight. then take a year off. spend some money, travel the world. let the hype die down. do whatever he wants. let his body naturally grow. then come back.

he needs to get out of the limelight, go to the states and fight some nobodys, do what guys like Chavez Jnr is doing. then come back and make a name for himself.

khan has never been allowed to learn as all his fights have been big fights, the main event.

he probably could have beat guys like limmond and earl in his first 5 fights. Kindelin was above that level.

    Controversial..........

    Though I can't say I disagree.

He has learned nothing about pro boxing at all it seems, he fights every opponent in exactly the same manner - now when your name is Floyd Mayweather and you have barely lost a round in your first 30 fights then fair enough, but having been decked by a light puncher in Limond and a shot Gomez the alarm bells ought to have been ringing.

Walking forward after a heavy KD in the first 30secs of a round isn't wise either, get on your bike, hold or get the guard up and work behind the jab - don't just walk onto another huge bomb.

He said he is going to have a week off, then go back into the gym

he needs to learn how to run away from his opponents, do something like what cotto was doing to margo in the first 5 rounds

I agree he needs to disappear somehow and still continue fighting this way he will want the belt even more. Its was not a good thing the people around him were saying khan will be a champ,

Amir might want to travel to Columbia and train with Prescott in the slums - and learn a thing or two.

Something tells me Khan dont want it all that much.

So Khan should just retire with his millions.

For a glassed chinned amateurish pro with no defence - he had plenty conned with the hype and made alot of money as a "celebrity" boxer

so a comfortbale retirement at 21 as a mutli millioniare he should count himself lucky

Forget the year out, he needs to give his career a second shot straight away but properly this time fighting on undercards against solid, if not spectacular, opposition.

Personally though I agree with Nicky Piper, hes another Errol Christie. Talented but just not durable enough for the pros.

He needs to really ask himself, "Do I really want to be a top class boxer or do I just want to stay at home and get validation from the general public".

I think he enjoys being a rich celebrity more than truly becoming a champ. He hasn't learnt anything as pro apart from how to lift weights better.

Let's be honest here, it's over for Khan. If this was some 4 round fight at the very start of his career, it could be put down as a learning experience. If it was a major fight against one of the top names, then fair enough.
This was a nothing fight against an unknown, hand picked fighter, yet he was totally out of his depth. A year out won't change a thing, apart from making him realise that boxing isn't for him.

with a lot of pr and world ranking manipulation, i dare say khan can still pick up a wbo title the Warren way, and even defend it a few times.

this is probably all khan wants anyway - he needs to box and be successful to retain his celebrity status.

You really think he can ever be a champion?

With all the manipulation in the world, its very rare you can fight a complete featherfist at the top level. Even if he was fighting for a vacant title.

why should khan go over america to totally restart his career, he is earning millions over here why go over there and fight for paychecks no way near as close to the 1s he is getting,

khan should train over there in america but should create his legacy over here ,(if there is to be 1)

he should stay on and get better maybe by bulking up increasing weight! then try and persuade a rematch later in a few years

    thts wht i would do

warren is a master manipulator. the dane fella khan beat was the wbo top 2, so i reckon there could be a few others like that coaxed into the wbo top 5.

No he should fight every 2-3months and spar hard against top pros, I think lack of top sparring is making him make silly mistakes

do you think he'll continue to earn millions?

i'll be amazed if his next fight is ppv unless he appears on the undercard of a real world title fight.

also, i imagine a proportion of his fans will ditch him now he's lost his 0.

I think he needs to get back into the saddle asap. Needs to be a credible opponent and he has to cut out the hype. Obviously he has a lot of hard work to do on his whole approach.
