Showtime say they have made a big lomg term investment in khan and hope he remains with them for the remainder of his career. Thought id share this as alot of people were saying khans marketability has gone down hill. Added to this is tge fact that team khan picked showtime over a hbo deal. This was announced at the presser today. Espionoza refering to him as "one of 5 of the top most recognized boxers in the US. "

Khan's marketability has just gone up

He will slowly rise back to the top

And now even more than ever people will be sitting on the edge of there seats thinking '**** what if he gets tagged?!'

Fighters might get sloppy in thinking they can KO him.. gas out then get beat to a pulp.

Say what you want about him, he puts on exciting fights.

Perfectly understandable that they want him fighting with them

He is a showtime type fighter. All action.

Khan if he had a good chin would be a superstar. He has loads of charisma on TV.

Imagine if he became a clinch and hold as long as possible fighter when hurt?

Pretty much. I'm not sure HBO even want him now as he's damaged goods. :conf

    Agreed 100%.

Khan is must watch TV when he's in the ring. You just never know what is going to happen. Plus, he has a polarizing personality so half the audience is hoping his wins, half hoping he loses, but all are watching.

Showtime has like half the audience of HBO.

Step down for Khan. Deservedly so.

At least his next ktfo will get some exposure though.

Showtime are clearly keen to showcase plenty of highlight reel KOs which Khan will personally provide!

I look forward to seeing this overhyped little turd stagger round the ring some more.

Hate or Love Khan, he's entertainment. I'm not the biggest fan but can't say I don't watch the fights.

This is more about Golden Boy than it is Khan. They're moving all of their fighters over to Showtime, it seems.
