Amir Khan signing with GBP can only mean one thing :

Khan Hatton , it has to be on now , Khan vacates WBA fights Malinaggi , Hatton beats Urango re claims IBF .

Hatton Khan for the IBF title in the winter in the UK ????

    Thoughts .

I would like to see hatton-khan....but I don't think it will happen....the only way I think it does happen, if in hatton's next fight he looks spectacular, then he will probably go on......Leaving the door open for a khan fight....

Plus I dont think we will see ricky at 140 again....he is just not healthy enough to make that weight again...khan would have to come up in weight...and I think hatton doesnt want to see freddie roach across the ring again, he knows hatton inside and out....

I'm thinking first round KO in an easy fight again for Khan so probably will watch the ppv if the undercard is good.

Hatton has been shouting from the roof tops that he is coming back @140 , as far as he is concerned he is fighting @140 when he comes back , therefore you would suggest that making the weight wont be an issue , as a fighter knows his body better than anybody else .

2ndly , Juan Urango is not a get in there and look spectacular kind of fighter , you dont do that with Urango you go in there and fight and etch out a decision thats Urango .................. ala Berto .

Fact is if Hatton beats Urango or JMM and Khan wins his next fight its on .

I agree December is fine but I will not be going to watch it at Wembley due to the reason I gave. Sick of even paying the ppv fee to see Khan undermatched.

last week over at the scene they said he was coming back at 147, unless something changed...with hatton's yo-yo diet in between fights....it weakens his chin more at 140....hatton fighting a hungry khan...I think hatton gets knocked out cold again in the mid-rounds....I hope he doesnt fight at 140 again...and a lot of people are favoring alexander to beat urango....I think hatton wants no part of alexander as well....and i'm a hatton fan....but I think he has only just one big fight left in him...or a tune-up against a c-level guy and then a major fight....khan is busy with other matters, and hatton is only looking short term...

Will Hatton fight him if Khan's title is stripped though?

I agree with that but pre Pacquiao , Hatton was the #1 Jr WW in the world that is not up for argument , so whats changed , IMO Khan is a terrible match up for Hatton whether he fights at LW or Jr WW Khan is a bad match up for Hatton , his work rate is higher he hits harder and has faster hands .

However looking at some of the other top Jr WW's i think Ricky can still hang with most of them including Tim Bradley and by the sound of it so does he , BTW on the scene today is Ricky saying all world champions @140 is an option for his next fight !!!!!!

Why do you think Khan hits harder than Hatton? Guys like Gomez or Limmond wouldn't have lasted 2 rounds with Hatton.

Just a couple of questions that posters maybe able to help me with.

    1. Why would Hatton want to fight Urango again, especially since Juan is likely to get beat by Alexander next time out (so no title on offer for Hatton)

    2. Why is Khan going to get stripped? He has already fought his mando in Salita.

    1. He said he wanted a world champion in his comeback and he must see Urango as beatable.

    2. Didnt Maidana step aside and wasnt the winner of Khan v Salita supposed to defend in 90 days against Maidana.

The WBA is hell bent on wanting maidana-khan to happen....and maidana is forcing the matter as well....he didnt want to fight alexander, and said he wanted khan....then khan signed with gbp, and now there is talk that they will pay maidana step-aside money to let khan keep his belt....Since the WBA has issued the orders to make maidana-khan purse bids...Maidana can continue to force the issue....Which I think khan can outbox miadana easily, i'm suprised the confident freddie roach doesnt want this fight....it could really silence the haters...

There is more khan haters in the world then fans....fighting paulie, or hatton does nothing for his credibilty in the boxing world...he would get credit from me for beating paulie, but most people will say oh khan beat a light-puncher, and if he beats hatton, morales, marquez...they will say he beat up on past it fighters....

We will see...Khan should fight maidana, and then bradley imo...it will do him wonders with the boxing community and future legacy wise...hatton is a nice name to show, but looking at circumstances it is nothing special at the moment....and khan would be more hated after beating hatton, which has been discussed before...
