GPB are incompetent at this stuff compared to Warren.

Yes Warren does carefully match make, but in the end any fighter with the talent he promotes does develop is a good fighter.

Joan Guzman would have been a legend under Warren.

Just look at this list of failures

Barring Mosely and Hopkins, who have what I consider suspicious cheek-bones.

I didnt say he would not be protected in the US - I am just saying that I would not be surprised if he did face Madiana in a year or two. I do not rate Maidana - I think he is a crude puncher and he only won against the more skillful Ortiz because he fought a stupid fight and traded with a puncher.

Maidana has a paper record and I think Khan would box the ears of him tomorrow - certainly in a year or two - if Khan continues his development under Roach - I feel that Khan would win a wide UD or even stop Maidana late.

So he forged a 135 career, fought none of the champs, went to 140 and ducked his first live defence. Will the rematch with Prescott ever happen? Probably not. Proves he is about the money not the legacy. Will he fight Maidana who is a live threat? Probably not.

Every Boxing webpage I have been on says Khan will vacate his title, I hope he doesn't I have a belief that every first time champion should prove he isn't just world class but championship class which for me is when a fighter takes on the best contenders and has a minimum of 3/4 succefful defense's or if you don't do that at least beat the lineal champ like Hatton did.
Amir has done neither and if he wants to vacate then I personally think it is a joke he hasn't proven he is a world class boxer and at the moment the big sell about Khan is the title he holds not his legacy. I hope he either takes on Maidana or gets him to step aside to a later date.

I agree I really don't rate GBP I think they match badly and they don't hold a candle to top rank when it comes to producing shows. I consider them a failure remember all the crap Oscar talked about when he started GBP how much of it has he stuck to?

Good move but if he ducks Maidana I will lose all respect for him.

Roach must have no faith in his punch resistance, ***an,Barrera,Kotelnik,Salita....Paulie?

A series of non-punchers. And the puncher that did spark h has shown himself to be a damp squib.

Unless he fights Maidana Im doubting his potential to be a 'top fighter' as there will be no variety/depth to his resume.
