Without wishing to offend anyone i think its a good thing Muslims are checked properly at airports. They may find it offensive, but i would find it offensive if a plane i am on is flown at 500mph into a building. Or if a building i am working in has a plane flown into it. Rather than complaining about the checks, it would be more productive if the Muslim community condemned the attacks, and weeded out the terrorists.

No dickwad... This situation was an obvious stumbling block. I'm staggered that "Team Khan" didn't foresee this. Getting a work visa in the States is not something you can just get easily with a criminal record. Why should Khan be given special dispensation because he's a decent boxer? It's arrogance and unprofessional.

 

It doesn't reflect badly on the UK because US immigration are and have been for a long time, absolutely reluctant to hand out work visas to lots of people... especially misbehaving foreigners.
