If that is true, what is the path to becoming the WBA super champion? E.G. - If Povetkin beat W Klitschko (hypothetically obviously) would Povetkin become the super champion for beating Wlad, and Wlad become the Hyper champion for losing the super championship?
the WBA website has Amir Khan as world champion but also states that his last defence was May 15 2010
scrap that...the January rankings show Petterson as the super champion with Maidana as reguar champ and Khan at number 2
I don't understand what the big deal is to be honest, the rematch will decide either way and the winner takes all so it's only a matter of time, unless Khan decides to fight someone else which I don't see happening
The rematch does, but why make their organization look even more shittier than it is by reinstating Amir if the rematch was going to decide who would be the holder anyway? It makes no sense and it makes Amir and the WBA look like morons.
yeah I mean why would Peterson want to be called a world champion after winning the 1st fight when he's just fighting the same guy again right?
http://wbanews.com/artman/uploads/1/RANKING_ENERO_2012_1.pdf Amir must be a little confused, ****s couldn't even spell Peterson's name right though.
