    Hope Peterson sparks him out.

Peterson better enter the ring second as well. He's the champ now.

Rumours that Lamont might be struggling at the weight and that he enjoyed himself after the win. Let's hope there's nothing to it. It's a moot point anyway because he WILL make it but hope he doesn't end up on the Kangaroo atkins diet and overshoot to a drained 140.

On a sidenote: I think the WBO maybe following their daddies WBC and WBA in inaugurating a Super duper, regular, Diamond Belt.

That Diamond belt is something to behold though and will take some beating: 800 real diamonds with 150 rubies and sapphires with 18kt gold center plate. Probably a 100k+ handcrafted piece!!

    They already have.

They just don't make "regular" champions underneath them. Their "interim" belts are only used when the champion is unavailable as well. Like when Braehmer was in prison for Clev, or Marquez out of the division for Burns.

when was this diamond belt concept created? I remember when Naseem mentioned about a one belt champion thing and called it the diamond belt.

Naz was being positive. This recent development is pure cynicism!

The first bout that contested it...I wanna say a Pacqiuao fight, maybe Margarito?

The WBO 'super' champion was originally for defending 10 times, not sure if still the case. That's how Naz got it I remember.
But original point, Khan really has gone into fully blown Walter Mitty form. He still thinks he is the WBA championl, dear God. :patsch

Khan is in delusional he really thinks he 'clearly' beat Peterson were it not for the hatman and the referee. He will loose the rematch with this attitude as Peterson has an answer for every thing Khan does.

which will be another wake up call!!!

Khan has the passion and attributes to become a very good Boxer but silly boy loses it all when he is in trouble!!

He made himself ultra vulnerable to lamont and then he came back which troubled Lamont in the 9th..back and forth battle. The fight was equal and Amir looked bad that night. I had him winning..
