Using his jab, and more effective inside work.

Khan could stay in the middle of the ring instead of backing up until his back hits the ropes if he would only utilize his jab.

He needs to take notes from Ward and Mayweather and how they throw the jab to the head, and to the body to halt their opponent's forward momentum.

Khan looked better than I've seen him in awhile since he has been with Hunter but if he used his jab he wouldn't have to hold so much because he could keep his opponent outside much more than he does.
Plus, that strong jab to the body will start to open up his opponent for more clean head shots.

I don't know why European fighters have such bad ability to work inside, but Khan has fast enough hands and feet to position himself for some quick inside hooks and uppercuts instead of just holding. If he is able to add these to his game, he wouldn't get penalized so much for acting like Lomachenko and holding without working.

Yeah he should focus on improving the body punching game. He has hurt these guys to the body:

    Maidana
    Judah
    Peterson
    Diaz
    Collazo

amir khan is a very underrated body puncher... they need to work on that with him.... he is always head hunting... he needs to focus on the left hook to the body which hits the liver hard and does the damage so often...

if he adds that to his offense he will be very difficult to beat.. agree on the inside game portion but i like how he bends his knees do dosge punches now... instead of jumping all around straight up like a kangaroo and getting hit....
