    Just saw the fight.

I thought this was a strange stoppage, Khan responded, everything seemed good.

    What did you think?

    it evened itself out

i don't remember which knockdown it was but i felt they gave him way too much time for one of the prior ones

besides his legs were just not there, garcia was just going for the fences with his shots

When asked "are you good?" He probably answered "I've got one of the best chins in boxing." The ref had no choice but to stop it.

    Good stoppage.
Interestingly, I don't hear anyone complaining about the Chisora (correct) stoppage, and Del certainly appeared to have more of his wits about him after both knockdowns than Khan did after any of his.

Should have let it go on so Khan and his team would have no excuses.

Um NO, Khan was given a huge break when the ref gave him a nearly 20 second count at the end of the 3rd round, so quit the bull ****.

When a fighter gets up and starts reeling around the ring like Khan did the ref usuallly stops it he got extra chances

Decent stoppage, just a bit inconsistent. Khan was wobbly and hurt, nobody would have blamed Kenny for stopping it when he went down the last time, it was just that he stopped it after the count when Khan seemed comparatively alright so it was a bit odd.

The ref gave Khan every chance. What do you want the guy to get killed?

I think at that point Kenny was looking to stop the fight. Khan was done after round 3, I thought it was going to be stopped after he was galloping around Kenny after the bell...

I made a thread saying the stoppage was bad, and most people simply thought the exact opposite. some guys even said khan could have died in there. that's laughable to me in all honesty. i've said it before and i'll say it again, he was ready to get back in there. either way, i'm not the type to dwell on it. time to move on.

He'd been dishing it back out until that point, sure, but...watch it again, man. How much was he affecting Garcia with even flush bombs, really? Then contrast that with the ever increasing accumulative effect that Garcia's power was having on him...

Bayless did him a favor. Amir owes Kenny a house.
