x2. I think the referee could have allowed him to go on....especially in light of letting him go on,when he was in a bad way after the first KD.
I think Bayless gave Khan the benefit of the doubt after the 1st knockdown. Khan being the star he is, and the fight being in it's early stages probably prompted him to do that. By the time Khan went down the 3rd time, even though he did look like he could continue, Bayless probably felt guilty about letting Khan slide earlier, and decided to end it.
Arguably a little premature but the referee was obviously concerned about the way Khan was just being hit about the ring. Could have borne seeing it waved on but that's a little sadistic I guess...
He was out of it, completely gone. Swaying on rubber legs, vacant look and gormless expression on his face. If it had carried on he'd have pretty soon been caught flush with a ****ing haymaker and been killed or cabbaged.
