"There's a few promoters we are speaking to about where we can fight, but I'd like to fight in the States - next fight or the one after," said Khan.
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_5480437,00.html Note him talking in the 3rd person:-dead:tired
From the Sky Sports article. I wouldn't read too much into it, Rob. He was just on about venues and undercards he can fight on in the States and didn't divulge anything of note.
I think he'll and up sticking with Warren and continuing to fight mainly in the UK. Being based over here and being promoted by Warren means he can cherry pick opponents at will. He'll have much less control fighting in the states and with his obvious shortcomings that's going to be a big problem for him.
"We" as in him and Frank Warren are talking to Arum and King about Khan getting on undercards in the USA would be my guess.
But Khan is deluded enough in his own abilities to believe under Roach he can be a P4P elite fighter. He doesn;t recognise his shortcomings.
Good point you made about robpalmer taking a quote and not stating its source therefore removing it from its original context. He tried to get creative and,as you rightly pointed out,I saw straight through his bull****.Plain and simple:deal Why the combative tone anyhow?:huh
I don't think it's really about what Khan thinks though. All his hangers on won't want to kill the goose that is laying the golden eggs.
Exactly.AK laid down the law right there and then.He wasn't going to stand for any arrogance in his studio and rightly so.Hatton wouldn't make it out of the make-up session
I'm not being funny at all mate, my comment was just a lighthearted wink to the 9 page threads we used to have on Hatton talking in the third peson. No harm meant,:good
