If he were white or black, people would see him for the B-level (AT BEST) fighter that he is.

Khan has good power, way above Mayweather's.
Khan's height and reach are comparable to Mayweather's which makes it a lot harder on Mayweather to play his defensive game considering Khan is the quicker and faster fighter at this stage in their careers.

Khan's one weakness is his inability to take a clean hard shot, but that weakness is null and void against a fighter like Mayweather that doesn't have a big punch and is liken to not attempt to throw one anyways.

The physical ability pendulum ****s to Khan's favor against Mayweather, and that's something that surely weighed in Mayweather's mind when he decided to fight the great Andre Berto instead.

It's a myth that Khan's only weakness is his chin. He also has a low ring IQ, can't fight on the inside, looks bad on the back foot, and is predictable.

I don't know what fights you're basing Khan's power off of, but his power is average. And he's only faster than Mayweather in that he throws those quick flurries, but his footwork and timing leave a lot to be desired, and he would easily timed by someone like Mayweather.

Khan also makes amateur mistakes. He leaves himself WIDE open when he punches.

Oh I see, that's a solid reason to fight the much better IQ EXALLANCE Andre Berto, the fighter who lost to the best IQ man in boxing history, the great Victor Ortiz.

Berto has nothing to do with the discussion. You couldn't refute my points, so you changed the subject.

You've changed my mind about Mayweather, I think you're right, Mayweather only fights fighters with a pulse who have high ring IQ's! :yep

Alexander? If you think Alexander is anywhere close to Floyd's level, you need to watch a new sport, because boxing isn't for you.

Of course he doesn't, which is why businessman "Money Mayweather" chose Andre "PPV King" Berto over Amir (cant draw flies to ****" Khan!

You've really opened up my eyes VG!

Khan really isn't that much more of a draw than Berto. They had to give tickets away for one of his fights.

Khan is just a bit annoying these days. Just fight someone good, and soon, you mong.

All the responses here are correct. Khan is not a great fighter, has been exposed.

However Floyd opened up the Khan issue by offering him or Maidana up as potential next opponents. He said he would let the public pick. Public picked Khan. Floyd lied and chose Maidana.

Why would he chose Maidana over khan. Styles makes fights. Floyd is a great defensive fighter that offensively can dictate when he and his opponent Engage because he chooses fighters that do not have reach advantage over him. I could not find one fighter in his 49 fights that had reach advantage. I did see one that had equal reach. DLH. A 36 year old shot DLH did very well with his jab the first 7 rounds leading to him being up in at least 2 of the cards entering into the 8th round.

Also when you look at the Judah fight, first 4 rounds his speed was actually dominating the fight vd floyd. Now everyone who knows Judah, knows that after 4-5 rounds he always implodes. Thus round 5 Floyd started taking over. Was it usual Zab or more Floyd figuring him out. I think s combination of the 2. However, Zab vs khan, Zab was speeded, jabbed and punished from the jump.

His do these two fights factor into this?

Mayweather - told everyone he was about money . Plus the fans told him they wanted khan. Khan was willing and ready. Yet Mayweather choses Maidana. Interesting. We don't know why but it seems money as usual made a decision to get more reward for less risk. But in this case khan would have produced 2-3 more pay per view purchases. So why Maidana.

Khan actually beat Maidana- so why Maidana?

Fans chose khan- so why Maidana

Could it be khan who is no where near the class of a mayweather, possessed certain things that, at this stage their careers provided a risk to his unbeaten record. Jab, reach, speed, movement behind the jab.. All are things that again a young money had no problems but the older version could, well it could be interesting. Khan horrific defense, propensity to walk right into rights ( which is mayweathers strength), low ring IQ. It could be interesting, and obviously Floyd would be favored, but a properly trained khan that sticks with the game plan pump the jab, mix up his rhythm, keep mayweather on the outside, ok to fight boring, just win each round, he could pull the upset, and had a much better chance than Maidana. Floyd could be forced to Ko khan which is khans weakness but Floyd's too.
