Khan tells Steve Bunce that he wants a unification bout after Paulie.

    ''This is not an easy fight like some people claim and after this I will silence people by fighting one of the top Americans," claimed Khan.

    "I've heard a lot of people accusing me of taking the easy route and that is crazy - I fight the men that my promoters put in front of me.

    "There are other champions at the moment and I want to start lining them up right now."

    The main rivals are the unbeaten America pair of Timothy Bradley, who holds the WBO version of the title, and Devon Alexander, the IBF and WBC champion. Alexander and Bradley have claimed that Khan and his promotional team at Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy are scared of a unification fight.

    Khan added: "Let me get rid of Malignaggi and look good doing it -then I will tell Oscar to get me one of the other champions.

    "This is a great division at the moment and I want to be known as a great champion.

    "All fighters want to be recognised as real champions when they win the title and that is why I want the big names after this fight."

    I hope he is not sleeping on paulie....The past week all i've heard is what is next for khan.....as if paulie has already been defeated...

    I look forward to it, believe it or not, i see him having more of a chance against Bradley than Alexander. If it comes off, then great, if not, then atleast i hope we get to see him in a fight with the Ortiz/Campbell winner.

    I remember there was a time not long ago when had you asked even the biggest Boxing afficionado, they wouldnt have had a clue about Sherif Younan, but he really has put himself about recently. Is he in danger of becoming the next Buddy Mcgirt?

    If he gets a commanding victory, or a stoppage, he will become a name player, that every1 will know.
    Khan is a very marketable name, thanks to Genghis, Kublay, Imran and Oliver, i can see many huge ppv names Courtesy of this.

    Don't look past the gate keeper is all i am saying. Beating Paulie is NOT a forgone conclusion. He SHOULD beat him based on his attributes. But Paulie is cute (in boxing terms before the homo bashers jump on me)

    Obviously they are at different stages in their respective careers right now, but Frankie is special. I think he would be to cute to get caught up in Khan's flurries. And i don't think Khan is particulary powerfull at LWW.

    Gavs not the most powerful puncher either, and got caught plenty by that shitty Frenchman a couple of fights ago, so stop making him out to be the next coming of Sweet Pea. He's an awesome prospect, but nothing he's done so far has convinced me he'l be better than Khan.
