Its a shame Khan didnt hang around longer at lightweight, with Campbell, Diaz and JMM moving, he could have been unified the championship, Paulus Moses is crap, Manny could have vacated his wbc belt, and carefully avoided Valero, called him out after he got arrested, and now with Diaz/JMM moving back down, now decided to move upto LWW, and been a two weight world champion.

Khan was moving up in weight, he did what he had to do to win, throwing quick combinations against a guy with a solid chin, who times his counters to perfection, and then breaks you down, like he did Rees and not so much Maidana. Khan fought the perfect fight, in and out, kept his discipline, and deserved the win. I was in the Arena, and every1 was on teh edge of their seat till the end.

Maybe that was more to do with knowing how bad Khans chin was, knowing a good punch would lay him out, but to call it Tedious and boring compared to the Bradley-Peterson fight? come on, atleast Kotelnik tried, wtf did Peterson do apart from his best Boris Karloff impresson against an industrious Bradley.

He deserved the win, it was a good gameplan, just not very convincing. Kotelnik's a decent fighter, but let's not blow his skills out of proportion. He's a decent puncher, with good timing and solid fundamentals. But he's a plodder with little handspeed. Kicking the snot out of Rees is not that exciting as an achievement.

I put your last comment in bold. If you think that a) Bradley-Peterson was boring, you clearly don't enjoy aggressive fighters with good skills using movement, power and positioning to win a fight. If you think that b) Peterson wasn't trying, then you REALLY need glasses. That kid was digging in hellacious bodyshots and Bradley needed to work from the outside to control the fight. It may have been a wide decision, but Bradley was forced to work for it every minute.
