No, domestic match ups are not PPV material.

    Enzo Maccarinelli v Jonathon Banks
    Nicky Cook v Ricky Burns
    Jon Thaxton v Amir Khan
    Matthew Macklin v Wayne Elcock
    Nathan Cleverly v Dean Francis
Bradley Pryce v Anthony Small II
Kell Brook v top 5 British Welterweight
Kenny Anderson v very decent journeyman
    Stephen Smith v ?

Now that is a card involving Thaxton v Khan I would fork out money for, rather than relying on 'internet radio'

What we're actually likely to get for Khan's comeback is:
    Enzo Maccarinelli v Jonathon Banks
    Amir Khan v Martin Gethin
    Nicky Cook v Ricky Burns
    Paul Smith v Steven Bendall
    Denton Vassell v ?
    Tony Bellew v ?
    Jamie Cox v ?
    Stephen Smith v ?
    Thomas Costello v ?

Then Smith/Bendall pull out, one of the 5 prospects ends up with an absolute joke of an opponent to the point there shouldn't even be a fight and Banks pulls out at the last minute and is replaced by Rob Calloway.

No i wouldnt pay for it and i dont think we should have to.

To be honest Sky showed a future great in Shane Mosley fighting a two weight world champion in Ricardo Mayorga for free so i dont understand having to pay for a fight between a flawed "prodigy" (Khan) against a fighter who whilst very likeable and a true example of dedication isnt exactly world level (Thaxton).

Thats if Khans management have like you said Jeff the balls to accept the challenge, especially after Khan calling Thaxton out and then bottled the fight.

Thaxton v Murray, please. Same promoter. Same TV channel. Both want each other's titles.

It can be so hard to make some fights. There wouldn't have to be any faffing about with Thaxton & Murray. No pulling out of purse bids & all that kind of nonsense.

Theres more chance of Khan fighting Margarito than Thaxton-Murray happening any time soon.

Because Hennessey has few enough top fighters as it is without letting them bump each other off. Was Murrays name mentioned even once post fight?

Don't think for one minute that these small promoters are any better, or any worse, than Frank Warren. The only reason they don't pull the kind of stunts he does is that they can't.

Nah, there was all that wishy washy stuff about world titles wasn't there.

It does seem that Thaxton has a specific idea where he wants to go and that's never involved Murray.

If Murray beats McAllister (and if Khan declines to go for the EBU belt), and beats him good, he won't be far from topping the EBU rankings. There is hope.

Will be a shame if Murray gets held back.

With a decent undercard yes. It's not the money. £15ppv and staying in with a few cans and a pizza is cheaper than going out, btu I wouldn;t pay for teh last one on principle. The problem is, if the main event is a decent pull in its own right, they'll put dross on the rest of the card....

Domestic level scraps like Thaxton Khan should never be ppv.

like money ruins football - if they start charging for run of the mill fights - (they did with Khans last one) - its ruining the sport for greed

Its important that Frank Warren charges pay per view for fights like Khan

After all - Warrens greed - wants him to have a new property in Spain - you shell out your £15 in the thousands - Warren gets rich off you and the hype job Khan can afford a new porsche as well
