Khan to become WBA super champ. I Dare You to Give me a Good reason why?

Khan is a future super star. Just accept it and get over it.

 

I dont think thats the point of the thread, the fact that the WBA seem to dish out new world titles that completely devalues the original champion and his status is the problem, IMO.

 

They are ribbons dude, they mean nothing.

I haven't gotten riled up over a title in 5 years.

Just so ya'll know, Maidana "did so well he's ranked as number 1, with number 2 being Victor Ortiz." that was on the scene. So expect a Maidana-Ortiz 2 to be followed by a Khan-Maidana 2.

The WBA have quickly moved on to handing out Super Champion status to anyone of their choosing.

Cotto was made Super Champion not so long ago after only one fight at 154, Andre Ward is one now too, and now Khan.

We all know how much of a joke the WBA has become, they've also issued Interim Belts in many divisions and have 2-3 champions in 13 of 17 divisions. It's gotten beyond ridiculous now. It's the most disgraceful thing I've seen in the history of these alphabet bodies.

It's ****ed up history. A guy like Mundine can now claim to be a two-time Super Middleweight champ, having won WBA regular belts taken from the two guys who whooped his ass in Ottke and Kessler after they were made Super Champions. Those belts shouldn't exist, but history will show Mundine was indeed a two-time WBA champ.

Wouldn't it be better if Ortiz vs Maidana be fighting for the number one spot instead of creating more belts? Gamboa is called a unified champ due to holding the WBA and I believe the IBF. John is the WBA champ. Good promotion and money will get these guys to fight each other, not a trinket false belt.

 

noone khan has the wba, bradley alexander are fighting for the rest.then they are going to fight eachother for the ring's one.its like the winners of the afc and nfc fighting each other for the superbowl
