Your not getting me, he will be fighting fo the vacant belt and wont earn much in the face off fight for the belt. Khan is the cashcow he has so been fighting for. If khan vacates he should not be allowed to fight for another belt without earning the right, I love the way he fights salita but not maidana yet both are mandatory. Brilliant aint it???

Maidana wasrobbed in that fight, but anyway Kotelnik defended it, That means Kotelnik did what was right and defended his title against the challenger and fair paly to him. Thats what a champ does???

Why do you care how much money Maidana makes?
If Khan did nothing but fight Mandatories he'd be criticised 4 not fighting the best.

I have heard Roach saying Khan is not looking to give up his belt so they have to work something out with WBA and Maidana on what is going to happen next, we should find out next week.

Because the financial rewards are just as big as the champion status. You should fight the best possible wether voluntary or mandatory. He fought salita then why not maidana. Basically Khan is the straw that broke the camel's back, i have seen this too much in the past but this has gazumped teh others. This is a proper pisstake, we have been sold the salita is mandatory please pay £15 to watch a mismatch, now there is soembody with a pulse that can challenge him, he wants no part of it. How you can even argue otherwise is absolutely hilarious...

I agree a lot with Tony on this. But I do feel going to Golden Boy is a more positive move fight wise as he will get the bigger fights money wise and star wise but to me his reign as WBA champion leaves a lot to be desired.

Mate i pray with all my heart that the fight comes off, I hope as an englishman and a true boxing nut that khan wins also, but i cannot allow this act of cowardice on khans part to get passed without causing a mini riot on esb...

    Because he has better options.
    Khan KO's Maidana anyway.

Yep reading back through the posts yeah i agree with you and Beeston. I agree with Tony in terms of Warren keeping him a star and box office and Roach getting involved with everything etc but i do agree with what you lads are saying. I don't like bitchmoves and i feel not fighting Maidana is one but end of the day Khan ain't the only one to make bitchmoves.

Khan doesn't have to fight anyone at this stage in his career. It's still very early days. Malignaggi would be a decent fight for him. I'lll lose no respect if he doesn't fight Maidana.

    What A ****!!!

If khan beats maidana he can do what the **** he wants for me. But he cant call himself a champ until he beats maidana. Salita was another ***an...

I hate this high risk-low reward ****. We'd have blockbusters like Darchinyan vs Donaire 2, Paul Williams vs PBF, Abraham vs Pavlik just 2 name a few.

I take you opinion on board but i still cant understand how you can let it slide happily:-(

Roach's interview in FightHyp* clears alot of what is going on with Khan right now.

Because IMO Maidana's a nobody who Khan would beat more easily than Malignaggi.

But Maidana is a mandatory champ who has earned his shot, Malinaggi isn't.
