Khan To dump Warren Sign For Golden Boy... Vacate Then Fight Mallinaggi

Who has earned his chance by beating the men he had to.

Unlike Khan who beat a past his prime Barrera, who was fighting a few divisions above his weight and then got a shot.

If you are a champion then you have to defend as a champion would. Not cherry pick who and when you want to fight a certain person.

As far as im concerned Khan isnt a champion just a guy who has a belt.

I think even in the US after his fight with Ortiz, beating Maidana would garner Khan more brownie points with the yanks than a victory over Malignaggi.

Im not saying Maidana would win but i think it is a true 50/50 fight, something Khan hasnt been in all that often.

 

I disagree on both counts. Malignaggi's a big mouth, extravagant, been in big fights, basically he's known. You can compare a Khan win with Cotto's, Hatton's etc.

Maidana's wide open. Khan pummells him and gets no credit.

 

1. Very true you could compare with both Hatton and Cotto, but even if Khan fights Paulie i dont think its a forgone conclusion.

2. Maidana is very wide open and i think his fight with Khan is a true 50/50 but i cant see how Khan can say he is a champion yet he is refusing to fight the number one oppoent who people know hits hard and whilst very open is fairly effective.

 

It seems Khan does want Maidana as well.

 

Yes ive just read on another post that Roach wants Malignaggi then Maidana.

Imo thats wrong Maidana has earned his chance, but aslong as Khan fights Maidana then i suppose people i.e fans will be ok by that.

Right after the Salita fight, during the interview Khan emphatically stated he wants to fight in American. When Warren was asked that question he said we will see or something to that effect. Warren wants to give Khan home cooking and Khan wants to a name for himself in America.

 

Maidana brings no reward to the table, where as Malignaggi does.

 

malignaggi is a huge fight for khan, easier fight stylistically but the rewards will be huge for him, im happy i hate that malignaggi twat hopefully khan does a salita on him

 

So if he ducks a puncher it's ok because people want to play armchair fantasy manager and concern themselves with risk vs reward?

 

I am Furious about him ducking Maidana if he loses the title because of this he will confuse his already dwindling general public following and lose the one tool that makes him a player at Light Welter why does this kid think he is above world titles hes done **** all.
