fact is at times like these no fighter will attract PPV except for hatton.

i wonder how calzaghe vs hopkins, jones or kessler would of done on sky box office. i reckon only Haye agiasnt a Klitscko would do big numbers like Hatton can, maybe froch vs taylor or kessler.

funny sky lost 3 fighters they could have put on box office in the past 3-4 years.

I wonder how much MAB has left. I suppose it does only take one shot but the last time he stopped anyone of note was 2004. I'd expect Barrera UD.

Frank Warren has signed up some new talent, medallists like Khan, and now that Khan has lost some of his golden glow from his 50 sec defeat would Frank not concentrate on the new talent more, perhaps this will be a 'real' test afterall, a sink or swim scenario.

Lets hope MAB can pull out one last big performance. Khan does not deserve a win over this legend and the way in which he would be eulogised for doing so would be grotesque.

That might be true but I think Barrera has shown signs that he might be shot.

Sky and Warren might have just ruined Khan's boxing career. If he loses to Barrera, he will have lost his last appeal and Freddie Roach too.

After the devastating Prescott knockout, they should be matching Khan with less dangerous opponents and build him for the future. He has all the time in the world to learn boxing skills, erase his defensive flaws and gain vital experience to fight the tough guys. The Murrays and the Arthurs route would have been the wiser way. He could have been a lot better boxer in a couple of years time with quality training and sparring, and a gradual improvement on opponent's class. KOd by Barrera and its good bye Khan forever.

If Barrera can turn up like he did just over a year ago against Pacquiao, in that type of condition, he can win.

There is a real possibility he could have aged significantly since then. Old, smaller, battle worn men can get punchy quick. Khan's handspeed could catch him cold and KO him early.

All things being equal, I'll still take MAB by knockout.

Whilst Barrera has only had one fight since then against someone I have never heard of, he at least stopped the guy - so who knows?

EXACTAMUNDO ........ surplus to requirements, khan should actually be lookin over his shoulder and it must be added pressure surely, to do better.

If Roach thought this was a big risk they would not made the fight, Roach must think Khan can beat MAB. Roach must love making crazy fights Pacmam vs ODH everyone was saying Pacman too small and lose, look what happened.

Roach has said that Khan needs to take riskier fights in order to improve, and actually find out how good he is.

No good getting to 35-1 having fought nobody of note.

It does seem like a desperate move from Warren though - in order to retain Khan he had to go PPV, he and Sky took a gamble and it failed miserably. They needed 250k buys to break even on Prescott..... they would need double that for MAB.

    100k buys max.

do you mean 100,000 minimum. they got 40,000 buys for prescott and around 60,000 for the Dec 6 card.

peopel will be pissed on here come march as MAB will be built up as the destroyer of Nas Hammed. still s quality opponent for Khan.
