I mean they won't get any more than 100k buys. Khan simply isn't a big PPV draw at this stage.

If Khan wins a world title (this may well set up a title shot), even if it is the WBO, I expect a lot of people on here to be eating humble pie:D. He has got relentless stick on here for even mentioning the words "world title".

Wow ... I am very impressed with this match-up, either Warren is looking to hang Khan out to dry or they know something about Barrera that we don't. Just seems to be a gargantuan leap from Oisin ***an to Marco Antonio Barrera.

This is one fight I can get behind Khan and support him on as this fight takes some balls.

Amazed to see this fightn mind you Khan did fight a Gomez not that long ago, albeit Michael Gomez so perhaps he's thinking that these Mexicans aren't too much to worry about unlike Prescott. Perhaps we'll find out it's Jeff Barrera or even Hannah Barrera.

We can guess the reasons for Warren taking it but it's worth thinking what's in it for Barrera.

He's been out of the ring for a fair while, won't have had any tune-ups and ain't young. Surely he can't need the money that would draw him to fight overseas so I've got to think he fancies the job.

Whether he's still got the tools to do it or not is another matter. If he's in the shape he was even at his last fight I'd back him to win but if he's slipped then Khan has a great chance to get a legend on his record.

Perhaps Warren has been learning from Calzaghe's recent matchmaking?!!

    Interesting.

Very impressed with this, have to give Khan credit for this. The boy is serious about his career. Barrera lost a close fight to Manny late 2007 and JMM the best two fighters in the lighweight at the time. Sure Barrera is over the hill but he is still one of the best, I think he will be too much for Khan.

Do we really want to live in a world in which Amir Khan beats Marco Antonio Barrera? :think
