In my humble opinion Khan is entitled to a soft touch after that KO loss, I don't think anybody knows how he will react to that defeat until he is under lights in a fight.

Have to add and make clear I'm not saying this would be a soft touch, I'm just saying if Team Khan looks low and soft then I don't blame them.

It wasn't like the Prescott defeat, he was trying to get up with Prescott, he was out cold against Canelo and there were a few seconds I thought he wasn't going to get up. It was a brutal KO.

Also Khan has just enrolled in the WBC clean boxing program so he is keeping his options open, his next big fight will be Garcia or Brook.

 

Khan has just had hand surgery, hes not been able to use his full power for years, hes been killing him self fighting with hand injurys, this time out he will be able to use his natural punching power like never before.

 

I don't think there is a such a thing as a soft touch for Khan at this stage of his career. It remains to be seen but after the last KO vs a good puncher 15 pounds heavier than him and his less than ok chin mean he is just a KO waiting to happen.
