    Great so they are going to make him into a boring fighter. Nothing needs to change with Amir Khan he is the most exciting fighter probably in the world of boxing right now.

    Yeah but he can't keep getting caught in the pocket because he'll get dropped . But is hunter really going to make him is number one priority I doubt it. If I was khan i'd go for Enzo Calzaghe. He would be number one and wouldn't have to travel miles, lets not forget he did a brilliant job for his son.

    so after complaining about playind 2nd fiddle behind Manny with Freddie Roach he is now going to do the same behind Ward with Hunter.
    Great decision Amir.
    Stop blaming your trainers and instead of standing there trying to trade, box to your strengths and dont get involved.

    I don't think khan has a problem being second fiddle I think he just doesn't want to travel around the globe following Freddie and Manny around, with Ward he has one base

    Like Relentless has said, Khan doesn't mind not being the number one guy. Every decent trainer that you can think of -- Steward, Nazim, Diaz, Garcia, etc -- will already have set fighters that they'll remain loyal to before anyone else.

    Khan's preference is being in a camp where he knows he won't be flown around all over the world, or settle for assistant trainers while the main is off in Mexico or the Phillipines. With Hunter, yes, Ward will be the main guy. But with Ward at least Hunter will be staying in one place only.
