An undeserved title shot for Khan @ 147. What a shocker.

Lee Purdy is fighting for a WW strap next...

And you're gonna give Khan a hard time?

    Khan's in a cut-throat situation.

Can't remain at 140 because he's outgrowing it. But the moment he steps to 147, he's gonna' get ripped to shreds. Even Eddie Hearn said that he isn't a welterweight and doesn't belong there.

Appears as though one of the biggest mistakes Khan's team have made, was focusing too much on the Mayweather fight and rushing his body up a division to face him. They should have continued treating him as a LWW and conditioning him as such, instead of trying to pack more muscle/weight on him (which I think they started doing after the first Peterson fight, or maybe before).

  5. he seems to think he should get any title shot whenever he feels like it.

Expect Floyd to be fighting 140 pounders from now on. No more risky fight till the end of his contract with SHOWTIME.

The only way he troubles Mayweather is with a guilty conscience for KOing Khan so badly

good decision... avoid big punchers... go for Alexander... possible even Bradley and then go for Mayweather... at least GB r using their heads... even Amir... boxing is a business and you have to be smart, especially at this point in his career.... also you never know what 147 might do to Khan in terms of punch resistance.... let's see it will be interesting

Anyone that honestly believed he wanted a rematch against Garcia is either new when it comes to Khan or an idiot. He cruised away from Prescott who sparked him under a minute by blaming the weight, trainer, Ramadan and Prescott's unsuccessful reign. He's going to do the exact same thing with Garcia as he slowly plans to cash out against Mayweather. Maybe after he gets sparked in that fight his team will have nothing to protect him for and sign a rematch.

So you're basically saying Mayweather may fight a guy who has been knocked down in every single one of his welterweight fights :D

Bad move. His Brittle Chin is going to be getting hit by even harder punches now and his own power is going to be even less effective then it already is.

He is going to be brutally and embarrassingly KOed yet again.
