Yes but a lot of great prospects go to waste because of punch resistance problems.Probably his new trainer might do something for him but its not the trainer taking the shots.Warren was off his head putting Khan in against Prescott.

I want to see Amir Khan go in against Jon Thaxton for the British welterweight title,if he doesn`t get knocked out by ***an.But now it looks like with his hype,with a win(if he wins)he will dodge Thaxton to go for bigger names.I`ll bloody hate him if he ducks Thaxton.

Can't work out from that if you mean Kell Brook for the title you mention (British welterweight title), John Murray for the British title at Khan's current weight, or you actually mean Jon Thaxton for the European lightweight title.

He has ducked Thaxton already - don't expect him to do any different next time.

In truth Thaxton will be looking for bigger fights - knocking out Khan won't mean much in the grand scheme of things, he needs a world title fight and quick before he gets too old.

He would be hammered by any of the champs at 135, but if any British fighter deserves a good payday, it is Jono.

One word: headgear

 

Khan is a world-class offensive boxer, and he can learn defense. Khan is better off to hire the Mayweathers in this area as Roach is more of an offense-minded coach. No trainer however will improve his sorry chin...

 

May be true, but we've also heard in the past about these same sparring sessions, Pac knocking sparring partners out and sending them home.
We've heard countless number of times in the past about Pac running out of sparring partners as he's too hard on them......
.....apparently, a glass jawed Khan is not one of them.
