It seems like the only logical option.

Warren and his camp only have themselves to blame in not making Khan a star over here. He was hot after the olympics but they have made some blunders in promoting him in the Pro game.

    1. Lacklusture opponents. Similar to Audley Harrison in the sense people want to see him tested. A shot MAB is not a real test.

    2. Going down the PPV route and he gets Ko'ed in under 1 min in his first PPV outing. Amir Khan does not have the cross over appeal nor has he fought the required quality opponents to where fans are ready to pay extra money to watch him on tv. I have no idea why they have not built him up on Sky Sports for say 5 fights and then once he progresses past that stage and fights higher quality move him to PPV. You can try and talk Salita up all you want but people aint stupid and Khan will be lucky if he gets more than 30,000 buys for that fight.

Its becoming clear Khan really wants to fight over in the U.S next and if Warren is not willing to offer this to Khan i am sure their are many other promoters in the U.S who would be willing.

What makes you think Khan could be a star in the US? He's not that good, not very charismatic and there aren't many Asians in the US to appeal to for novelty value?

The way GBP and Bob Arum link his name to other mega stars names does smack of trying to "court" him, by dangling the prospect of super stardom before him. But I wonder why, if you see my doubts about his appeal in my post above?

khan would be big in the states cause they appreciate talent whereas we in this country have a tendency to knock the best athletes we have. We did it with benn, naz, froch and khan. And if youve ever been to any of khans fights u wouldntve made such an ignorant statement suggesting its only asians who khan appeals to :patsch

This is true, the myth that only asian support Khan was well and truly busted when I went to see the Kotelnik fight.

There were rumours that Khans promotional contract with Warren was up after the Kotelnik fight. Knowing Warren he put a clause in that fight contract allowing him to promote Khan for his "x" ammount of defences should he win, allowing Warren more negotiating time.

I would not be suprised if the negotiations have gone very badly and that Khan will either leave Warren via a GBP payoff or via Khan Vacating the belt.

Look after the Kotelnik fight, I would have to watch the interview again but I dont think Amir gave Warren any credit for his title win, things havent been rosy there for a while and I feel it will end after Dec 5th.

The only suprising thing about this whole story if true, is that Warren hasnt fed Khan to a lion to make him lose.

Marquez would beat Khan like as would Malignaggi and Diaz, a really cant see Khan beating any of the top Light-Welters TBH. Its just a matter of time before he gets Knocked out agian folks mark my words.

totally disagree, i think hed be too quick and big for marquez, hed outbox urango, paulie would be a good fight but again i think hed outbox him, he could outbox maidana if he doesnt get caught, alexander would be an interesting fight as would bradley.

a lot of winnable fights for khan, not to mention even hatton in the summer

It all depends on how much his chin has improved at the new weight, if at all.

He'd definitely be too big and quick for Marquez IMO. Marquez is obviously class but the size and speed differences at this stage of Marquez' career would be too much.

Diaz/Malignalignaggi winner would be VERY interesting. But he should STAY THE **** AWAY FROM MAIDANA!
