I'm sorry but it seems you missed Khan's last fight... The very agressive St. Clair couldn't land one single clean shot and man he tried for 12 rounds! That was a perfect fight for Amir and I don't think if St. Clair would be a KO artist he could've landed more...
Khan far from kills himself to make weight. Actually, he's said he's fairly comfortable with the weight
i cant believe diaz is being called a fat hypejob after losing to a guy who was in "buster douglas-tokyo-'90" form. typical how the words 'overrated', 'fraud', 'hypejob'.... fly around this place after a loss.
Gairy came to hide. He hardly threw a punch worth mentioning and never one with intent. Gairy was small, late call up with no ambition and no power. Khan could have fought so many guys that would have given him a better fight. It just looked decent on paper.
I think it is pretty tight against them both. Obviuosly Nate got a lot of plaudits last night and deservedly so. Many in the know were not over surprised. Diaz has looked great in the past but was shown up last night as being beatable. My point is that where as last week we thought Khan did not have a cat in hells chance of victory he now looks a fairly decent punt and not just to his fans. I would be hoping for a Khan loss was he ever to face these two but that does not seem a for gone conclusion any more. Khan is and will go onto be a major player in this division and the one above.
If Khan is smart, he'll stay away from Anthony Peterson. Otherwise, he'll get his chin checked and will be stumbling around the ring like Macca.
Everytime I've heard Khan talk about his weight he has stated that he makes the weight 'easily' and thus would like to clean out lightweight before moving up in around 18 months time.
