Yeah, FW has done a good job in getting the fight made and credit to Khan for taking the fight. If Khan does pull off the win, will you guys think him credit even if its against a shot Barrera?
This is actually PPV worthy as long as it is with the Enzo fight. Although you can clearly see the angle of this, khan fighting the "legend" who defeated Nas. I believe Khan wins with his size and speed and with MAB past his prime, but would not be surprised if MAB won. Very interesting fight and I will praise FW for this one.
MAB has a guarunteed fight with NateDogg later in the year so he wouldn't be taking this if he wasn't confident he can win. It is a surprise but perhaps Warren is looking to cash in.
Is this a cash out fight? Does Warren think Khan hasnt got it so get KOd then ditch him or is Barrera really that shot
I'm with you here - MAB wouldn't bother taking a fight unless he was 99% sure he would be winning. He wants the fourth title thing.
Agreed; either he is: (a) cashing in on glass-jawed cash cow boy Khan. OR (b) he has insider info on Barrera's fighting condition (maybe a drastic detrioration in his reflexes, punch resistance etc.) thats makes him think Khan has a better than average chance of emerging victorious.
Lets not all come in our pants just yet, I think we all know that Mr Warrens cards can have a tendency to change some what before fight night, so lets give it time and hope that MAB does not have one of those mysterious sprained ankles
To think Naz is long gone And Barrera is still going.............and adding another name to his resume Barrera has fought everyone.........win or lose...........Modern Great
Sometimes that can be misinformation though He got it wrong against Bedis Prescott And remeber how Haye bluffed he was struggling to make weight to land the Enzo fight (even though I think Enzo wanted the fight regardless of how easy or hard Haye made the weight) The point is sometimes misinformation is passed on to deceive on purpose to make fights easier to make Barrera's camp must be licking their lips that they have landed a high profile big fight and probaly a good payday against a hyped up pretender
He gave Marquez a hard fight. Pacquiao beat him easily, but Barrera fought very cautiously, similar to how he fought Rocky Juarez the second time, but Pacquiao was just too good.
Well, as of this moment it is basically a done deal; that might change in the future, but this is a boxing forum so I'll come in my pants all I want while the fight is currently a reality.
