Based on his fight against Maidana, I wouldn't say that Broner has "glass" chin. He got caught but he also showed a solid punch resistance throughout to fight. His lack of professionalism was evident during the fight and it was the main reason of his loss. That was his only fight I've watched because I was curious to see him after all the hype that was surrounding him. Other than that he's an example of lack of class and professionalism, so I won't be paying too much attention to him, unless he is the big fight with some interesting boxer of course. But like I said, even though I was glad he got what he deserved, he wasn't as bad as most of the people were saying after the fight.

I believe that Khan is the better boxer and should be on a higher level than Broner. Anyway he has very bad defense from I've seen and that's the main problem in his game, not his "glass" chin. If he isn't able to protect himself properly, he is going to get hurt regardless of his punch resistance.

I believe that Khan would defeat Broner on points. He is faster, moves better and although he has an obvious defense problem, his style would make it difficult for Broner to hit him.

I would watch this fight if it was on the undercard of some bigger event, but I likely wouldn't tune it to watch it just for these 2 guys, especially if some other fight was happening as well.

Very good matchup imho. I can't say for certain who wins and that's one of the things I like about it. Another great thing is I don't like either fighter and find them both annoying as **** so seeing one or both of them get beat up would be to my liking.

As far as a prediction, I'm leaning heavily towards Khan winning the fight because Khan is just the better fighter overall. He's faster, hits harder, is much bigger, has better footwork, the list goes on. Pretty much you name it and Khan is better at it. Broner is a horribly overrated B level fighter with no power above lightweight to speak of, slightly above average but deeply flawed defense, low work rate, glass jaw, and low ring IQ.

Khan also has a glass jaw, but believe it or not, Khan's is actually better than Broner's. Also, Broner is very inexperienced with good fighters. The only times he has stepped up he has failed miserably and it hasn't been long enough and he hasn't been doing the right things to make an improvement.

Khan wins, one way or another.

    Uh, punch accuracy?

Up there with the most important variables in the sport?

Broner may not throw a lot and may not throw as fast as Khan, those points I'll give you (I'm not willing to accept that Khan punches harder, though...but will refrain from arguing that point) but he is damn sure more careful and on-point with his placement. That you can't take away from him; Broner is quite accurate. Khan is wild as **** with his shots, especially combinations. He sacrifices accuracy for speed.

Why do people keep calling Broner glass-jawed? And it seems that they are taking the 2 knockdowns from Maidana as proof of that, whereas in my opinion the fight overall proved he has a sturdy chin.

Khan beats broner by wide UD possibly stops him late.

Yeah, a bit hypocritical to say "Khan has a better chin; Maidana didn't knock him out" when...Maidana didn't knock Broner out, either.

...and, the much-improved, bigger, more powerful, less sloppy Maidana actually landed more flush power shots on Broner than on Khan...

Plus you need to consider Khan's past of being on his ass against Limond, Prescott, Garcia and the fact he was later floor by Julio Diaz.

As much as I think Broner is an arsehole, he undoubtedly has a better chin than Khan.

    :good

If his chin were glass, even with the size disparity, Ponce De Leon would have put him on the deck in some of those rounds where he tagged Broner well.

Could go either way but I'll pick Khan based on speed and work rate. Even though Khan isn't great and has a weak chin, I don't think Broner will have the combination of skill and power to beat him.

When exactly was Khan's pre-glass stage?
