Burns could outbox Khan, I'm quite confident of that.

Burns would outbox and then knock his ass out.

    why not?

and Limond was robbed of a KO win over Khan by the ref. If Limond had Khan on spaghetti legs and down, 2012 Ricky Burns definitely has the power to banjo him.

Yep.... not saying he would, merely that he could.

Technically he's all there, ticks most boxes.

Without wanting to sound like a Kell Brook fan, but what's the blueprint?

He's not lost in years, and although his opposition level has been questionable at times during that run, he's handled a wide range of opponents stylewise.

I think Burns would be the counterpuncher in this fight. It's the speed that can cause him problems though.

Khan has been beaten every other way, he's been blasted out, his been pressured, and he's been timed... there's no reason why someone can't stay outside and win a decision against him.

Burns could draw him forward and land his uppercut as Khan rushes in, and bring the hooks in too.

The battle of the jabs would be interesting, Khan hasn't to my mind faced a really good jabber, certainly not for a while, whilst his own jab is really effective if he throws it as a single punch.
