if this fight is made and it sounds like its khans preffered fight, i think its a good fight for him. He needs to step up in class but he is not ready for the big guns yet.

hmm odd one for khan tho does bridge the gap a little fromth shite he has been facing to contender level.

it would show us whether khan has the patience to stick and move for 12 (or however many its for) rounds and pile up points. If he gets tempted to engage and try knock diaz out he could get caught and then prob lights out for khan with his chin

Though many fans will argue with Khan, it seems the lightweight contender has made up his mind. According to The Sun, Khan's next fight is scheduled to take place on June 27th, with former world champ David Diaz the "preferred" opponent.

This is posted on ESB news.

Easy fight for Khan against a former titlist, wouldn't answer any questions about his chin or big punchers. Good step up in class, though.

Are you crazy Frank Warren is his promoter and would never allow Khan to gain his honour.

David diaz is too slow and too limited to compete with Khan..

Khan wins this fight by a lopsided decision. no doubt.

He will. Thats one of the biggest money makers Frank has in his stable. He'll wait until everyone thinks Khans ready (unless BP goes on to annihilate top guys)

David Diaz is a great opponent. He's a fairly known name, an ex champ, but a slow, poor fighter. Fits the bill perfectly.

yeah, it will be easy if he wont be lured into a brawl. he can win by a wide ud. i dont think its a good idea for him to go for a KO, he might get caught, david is the stronger fighter.
