    Why aren't they making a Pearl belt for Patel to fight for and add to his illustrious collection? No Patel, No Party. No Pearl, No Point.

    Don’t think you can blame a free to air channel for that - they have to grab a name or two to pull in the casuals, while hopefully giving some airtime to a few fighters on the way up. You need to point the finger at the PPV moguls - it’s the like of Whyte Rivas (just £19:95) that’s ruining the sports credibility.
