Khan... He treated Garcia like an amatuer kid but quickly got smacked down first time around He knows Garcia has great power and an iron chin...he won't be underestimating him 2nd time around. I don't think Garcia will take the fight...but hey he has been through alot since 2012..maybe he really believes he has top tier boxing ability? top tier awkwardness for sure...Khan wasn't phased by that in the first fight...maybe the air of caution Khan brings to the rematch will work against him...I think it very well could. fun fight.
If Khan wasn't phased by that first fight he won't be coming to the rematch with "the air of caution". It's very hard for anyone to recover from a knockout and it's even harder to recover from it facing a guy that knocked you out once again. Khan will be overly cautious in the rematch and that will work against him. If he's able to box, use his speed and move around he can win this one by decision but I can't see him do it.
Khan UD. Khan is much more defensively responsible under Virgil, doesn't make as many major defensive errors. Garcia is not good at cutting off the ring, he's a low volume puncher. Garcia is not landing the only KO punch (left hook) he has, anymore.
In the first fight, Garcia spent bout 8 minutes timing Khan as he was coming in, and then he landed. It was a schooling. If you think Khan was winning and just got caught with a lucky punch, you need to watch the fight again.
This. Khan's best win at 147 is Alexander, who is a level below Garcia. I also think Khan's inactivity is going to work against him.
More like swinging at air because he couldn't see Khans punches because he was so fast, that's his own words.
